- Tangaroa Tours 4WD excursion around the island. First prepare the Umu oven for lunch which is cooking while you are away. Explore the ancient inland road (Ara Metua), part of the coastal road, drive inland to the mountains for panoramic views, visit Wigmores Waterfall, farmland visits to see the various forms of agriculture, visit a perfume factory, taste the Noni Juice, and learn the islands history and culture from your guide. Back to back to base to lift the Umu and try Ika Mata (marinated raw fish), Taro spinach, and vegetables and meat baked in the umu.
- Saturday morning visit to the market in Avatiu and take a guided historical walk of Avarua , the capital, tracing the settlement of the country by Polynesians, Missionaries, and New Zealand. Also visit the museum.
- Captain Tama's lagoon cruise on beautiful Muri Lagoon including glass bottom boat, snorkelling through a black pearl farm, and enjoy a barbecued fish lunch.
